Aladdin is the main protagonist of the 1992 Disney adaption of the Arabian Night of the same name, as well as the protagonist of The Return of Jafar, the animated series, and Aladdin and the King of Thieves.

He was originally an 18 year old "street rat" who often had to steal food to survive but was nevertheless a pure hearted individual, even giving some bread he worked hard to steal from himself to two homeless children. He eventually falls in love with Jasmine, the princess of Agrabah and becomes a prince thanks to the help of a genie who eventually becomes his best friend.

After defeating his archenemy, Jafar, he becomes engaged to Jasmine and eventually marries her at the end of "King of Thieves."

  • Although much more slim in the animated movie, he bulks up somewhat during the sequels and the animated series. This is either because of the change in animation or due to the fact that his engagement to Jasmine allowed him access to more food.
